C3 Standards & Certification Committees

Preliminary Committees Statement

The Content Compliance Council (C3) seeks to form committees of industry professionals from a broad set of backgrounds and skill sets.  These committees will develop best practices, standards, rules, and certification requirement programs for (but may include more):

  • Content Review & Screening Methodologies Committee
  • Content Review & Screening Policies Committee
  • Content Auditing Practices Committee
  • Whitelist & Blacklist Development, Maintenance, and Management Committee
  • Uniform Public Content Policies Implementation Committee
  • Uniform User Dispute Resolution Methodologies and Policies Committee
  • Content Screening Service Provider Standards & Certifications Committee
  • Government Regulatory Committee
  • Public Research Committee
  • Public Relations Committee

Committees will meet (typically via conference call) monthly, or more frequently as the work of the committee dictates, and its member so decide.

Committee membership is open, and interested professionals should contact C3 about participation.
